Thuraya XT

Thuraya XT is Thuraya's latest satellite phone, after the SG-2520 and SO-2510 handhelds. It doesn't work in GSM mode, and so is designed only to work within Thuraya's network. The XT is similar in size to the two previous Thuraya phones, the main difference being that it is splash-, shock- and dust-resistent. The new phone has a glare-resistant display which helps when using the phone in direct sunlight. Thuraya's new phone has also a built-in GPS module and is equipped with a long-life battery.
