Thuraya handheld satellite phones

Thuraya's XT is similar in size and most functionalities to the SG-2520 and SO-2510 phones. It is designed though to be more shock, dust and water resistant

Thuraya's SG-2520 is the first satellite smartphone and the smallest dual mode satellite phone (the SO-2510 being the absolute smallest).

The SO-2510 is at the moment the world's smallest satellite phone. It's comparable in size to the, once so popular, Nokia 3510 cell phone. It works in the Thuraya satellite network, but unlike it's cousins, the SG-2520 smartphone and the Hughes 7101, it does not have dual (GSM and satellite) mode.

Thuraya's Hughes 7101 is a first generation Thuraya satellite phone. It is dual mode (GSM and SAT) and has integrated GPS technology.

Thuraya's Hughes 7100 a first generation Thuraya satellite phone. It can work both within GSM networks and Thuraya's satellite coverage.

The Ascom 21 was Thuraya's first satellite phone. Similar to later Thuraya phones, it is a dual mode phone and has a built in GPS.
