satellite phone dictionary

Pole to pole coverage is a term used to denote full global coverage. With respect to satellite phones, this means you can use such system virtually anywhere on the planet (from South Pole to North Pole), as long as your phone has access to clear sky. Currently the Iridium network is the only satellite phone system to have pole-to-pole coverage.
